Do you remember when you had to explain to your parents how their iPhone works? Do you have memories of your grandparents being unable to work a ticket machine or an ATM? I am certain that when I grow old there will be technologies that will neither make sense to me nor that I will know how to use them. Probably something like Fortnite 3000 on Metaverse will be among such things. Nevertheless, I love technology and I was often an early adopter. I was one of the first in my surrounding to have an E-Mail address, I used to build Flash 3.0 interfaces and I was one of the first Swiss with a 3DFX graphics card or a GPRS phone.
I realized that Web 3.0, Blockchain, Etherium and NFT are things I don’t fully understand. I believe in lifelong learning and I decided that I will not have my grandparents moment this year. So I started to climb down the rabbit hole to better understand the underlying technologies, the different services and providers as well as how to use decentralised apps and services. Crypto, Web 3.0 and Blockchains are still highly technical, hard to use and navigate and everything seems very messy. Nevertheless, it amazes me how teenagers are able to build apps or become instant crypto millionaires overnight.
Whenever I am learning something new I love to experiment with some personal projects. Learning by doing always worked well for me and my project Sessions is makes no difference. Sessions is a personal project to learn, understand, explore and play with Web 3.0 and blockchain technologies. I am using a generative algorithm to track my in-depth working sessions. Each session represents the uninterrupted time I spent working on something important. Each session represents a moment in life spent on hopefully the right things. Once a session is completed, I generate a unique artefact and mint it as an NFT.
Time is our most valuable resource. Therefore, the price of every generated session gradually increases. You can become an owner of one or more sessions. — you can own time. If you acquire any of the sessions, you will be featured as the owner on the Sessions landing page. You can have a look here: https://niklausgerber.com/sessions

Considering a job change or other life change? 7 questions to ask yourself first
“How can I be the best ‘me’ possible?” It’s a question you’ve probably asked yourself, at some time or another. She works with individuals, teams and organizations to help them reach their limits (in a good way!), and in her new book Smart Growth, she shares what she’s learned.
Deep Work: How To Kill Distractions And Boost Productivity
It's 10:34 a.m. on a Thursday morning while I'm writing this. Headphones on. Spotify activated. Weird 'Focus Mode' playlist playing. Notifications are turned off for both laptop and phone. I'm in the zone, so to speak.
Avoiding Stupidity is Easier than Seeking Brilliance
We often focus on trying to be brilliant, yet many great people get far more mileage out of avoiding making stupid mistakes. Amateurs win the game when their opponent loses points, experts win the game by gaining points.
